KAROLYN KATE SEBBY
Karolyn Kate Olson was born February 29, 1930, to Thomas and Gladys House Olson in Webster City, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Webster City and graduated in 1948, from Webster City High School. In 1955, she moved to Clarion, Iowa. She lived most of her life in the Clarion area, where she had worked as a nurse's aide and a waitress locally. In 1969, she was united in marriage to Leland Sebby. She retired from being a waitress in 1998. She had been a member of the Federated Club.

Karolyn K. Sebby died Sunday, October 3, 1999, at the Community Memorial Hospital, Clarion, at the age of 69. She is survived by four daughters, Diana Kramer, Sierra Vista, Ariz., Donna Humphrey, and husband, Doug, Sierra Vista, Ariz., Debra Follansbee, and husband, Russell, Sierra Vista, and Kim Klegett, and husband, Tom, Clarion; one son, Bruce Wilson, and wife, Gidget, Clarion; 13 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and one brother, Maynard Olson, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland; and two brothers, John and Leonard.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 7, 1999, at 1:30 p.m. at Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, with Reverend Gary Boen officiating. Burial was held in the Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. Willim Funeral Home of Clarion was in charge of arrangements.
