Mildred A. "Millie" Mini, 66, of Dalzell died at 11:10 a.m. Oct. 12, 1997, in the Skilled Nursing Center at St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley, Illinois. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Hurst Funeral Home, Ladd. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park, Spring Valley. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Mini born March 31, 1931, in Clarion, Iowa, to H. J. and Alice (Windels) Thompson. She married Edward T. Mini on Sept. 17, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa. He died Feb. 27, 1990. Survivors are one daughter, Rhonda Mini of La Salle; two sons, Edward "Kim" Mini of Utica and Kevin (Penny) Mini of Crossville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Dolores "Tootie" (Leo) Fonderoli of Arlington, Sharon (Ivon) Sharkey of La Moille; two brothers, Jake Thompson of La Salle and James (Pat) Thompson of Ladd. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
