Ruth M. Parrish, 87, of Eagle Grove, died Tuesday, March 21,2006, at the USA Health Care in Clarion. Graveside services were held on Friday, March 24, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove with Pastor Tim Piatt officiating.

She is survived by her son, Richard "Dick" Thompson and his wife, Debra, of Eddyville, Iowa; and two grandchildren: Erica Thompson of Des Moines and Emily Thompson of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her parents, and both husbands, Lyle Thompson, in 1965, and Robert Parrish, in 1979. The Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of the arrangements.
