FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. EFFIE McCORKELL HELD AT DOWS TUESDAY

DOWS -- Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs. Effie McCorkell at Halvorson's funeral parlor. The services were in charge of the Rev. George Beirsborn of Marshalltown. Burial was in Fairview cemetery. Mrs, McCorkell was born at Liscomb, Sept, 3, 1881, and died at her home near Dows Sunday. She is survived by her husband, John McCorkell, one daughter, Mrs. Lois Armstrong, and three grandchildren.
