January 18, 1900 ---- April 24, 1964

Dr. A. F. Beisner, 64, prominent Webster City chiropractor, died Friday evening at the Lutheran hospital in Fort Dodge. He had been in ill health for several months. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. daylight savings time Monday at the Congregational church with the Rev. Don Blanchette officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery where Masonic rites will be held at graveside. The body will lie in state at the Foster funeral home where relatives and friends may view the body until 12:30 p.m. Monday, when it will be taken to the church and the casket will remain closed.

Anton Frederick Beisner, son of Fred and Tressa Beisner, was born Jan. 18, 1900, at Webster City. He attended the Webster City schools and later was graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic at Davenport on March 22, 1922, where he received his doctor of chiropractic degree. He attended the National Chiropractic school in Chicago and later received his PhD degree. He was united in marriage August 13, 1930, to Bernice Horst at Hannibal, Mo. The couple resided at Muscatine, Iowa, where Dr. Beisner practiced until he returned to Webster City in 1950 and had since practiced here.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. David L. (Patricia) Cluster of Marshalltown; two granddaughters, Penny and Pamela Aden; three sisters, Mrs. H. J. Dick, Mrs. Katie Fielder and Mrs. Walter Bauer, all of Webster City. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Dr. Beisner was a member of the Congregational church. He was a member of the AF and AM Acacia chapter of the Masonic lodge and a member of the Sharon chapter, 148, Order of Eastern Star, both of Webster City. He was a member of the American Chiropractic association and of the Iowa Chiropractic association. He was a former member of the Webster City Lions club and the Elks lodge.
