Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Emily M. E. church for John Christ Beisner, who died at the University hospital Saturday from coronary sclerosis. Rev. E. G. Peterson of Crosby officiated at the services and interment was in the Emily cemetery. Mr. Beisner was born September 11, 1876 in Williams, Iowa and was 62 years 10 months and 4 days of age at the time of his death. He had made his home on a farm near Emily for the past year and a half.

Surviving are his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Phil Lustig (Helen) of Emily; Mary Louise, at home; and two sons, Ray of Hutchinson, Kansas and Howard of Crosby. Two sisters, Mrs. Martha Birkholz, of Hebron, Neb., and Mrs. Caroline Lutzke, of Chugwater, Wyoming, and one brother, Herman, of Williams, Iowa, also survive. Relatives attending the funeral were Mrs. Birkholz and two children of Hebron, Neb., and Mrs. John Jorenby and four children of Volga, South Dakota.
