YOUNG MOTHER DIES SUDDENLY
Funeral Services for Mrs. James Kennedy, 22, to be Saturday at church here

Mrs. James Kennedy, 22, died at the hospital here yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock, death being caused by late complications which followed the birth of triplet sons Nov. 17. Two of her little boys died shortly after birth. The other is getting along nicely. Mrs. Kennedy is the former Miss Erma Mae Beisner, of this city.

Funeral Saturday
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the English Lutheran church at 2:00 o’clock, preceded by a brief prayer service at the home, three miles east of town. The Rev. E. A. Piper will officiate and burial will be made in Graceland cemetery. Foster’s in charge.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her husband and one son, Gary Eugene, age two weeks and four days. She also leaves her father, F. H. Beisner, one brother, Dr. A. F. Beisner, of Muscatine, and three sisters, Mrs. H. J. Dick, of Webster City; Mrs. Earl Fielder, of Cass Center community and Mrs. Walter Bauer, of Boyd, Minn., and her father at home. Mrs. Kennedy was a graduate of Lincoln high school, being a member of the class of 1930. Since her graduation, she had lived with her father at home. She was married to James Kennedy Feb. 7, 1935, and the couple made their home with bride’s father, east of town. She was a member of the English Lutheran church.

Death is a Shock
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Garland Lee and Gerald James, and her mother, who died about four years ago. The death of this young mother comes as a great shock to her family and friends and to the community, as well. She was popular in the community and in the church and was of such a disposition as to endear her to all who knew her. She was born May 14, 1913, and had always lived here.
