Funeral Rites for Frank Beisner, Jr.

Funeral services for Frank O. Beisner, Jr., who died November 3, 1971, were held Saturday, Nov. 6, at 2:00 p.m. at the Eyler Funeral Home. Rev. Carl Jensen, pastor of the United Methodist church conducted the services. Mrs. Paul Loomis was organist and special music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Pete Rodriguez. Pallbearers were Wilbur Schutt, Thomas Schutt, John Schutt, Lynn Abbott, Jack Dawson and Robert Johnson. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery at Clarion.

Frank O. Beisner, Jr. was born August 29, 1943, to Frank and Goldie Schutt Beisner in Dows. He received his education in the Dows Community school, graduating in 1961. On November 30 of that same year he joined the United States Marine Corps. He served his country in this capacity for 52 months, several of which were spent in Vietnam. After receiving his discharge, he was engaged in farming except for 1 ½ years, during which he was employed by the Iowa State Highway Commission. He passed away at Clarion on Nov. 3, 1971 at the age of 28 years. Surviving him are his parents, one sister, Mrs. Jack (Jeanne) Dawson of Ankeny, and two brothers, Jerald and Galen, both of Clarion. Also surviving are two nephews, Thad and Troy Dawson.
