December 1866 --- July 28, 1900

Mrs. David Griffith died at her home in Dayton township Sunday morning at 1 o'clock. It was one of those unfortunate cases in which neither mother nor child could be saved. Mrs. Griffith was a sister of the Nichtern brothers and the bereaved husband and relatives have the warm sympathy of all in this great affliction. The funeral was at the home Monday. Rev. Nash preached the sermon and the burial was at Goldfield.
