Ronald F. Finley, 72, of Norwalk, Calif, and formerly of Eagle Grove, died on Friday, Oct. 14, 1983 at the Downey Community Hospital in Downey, Calif, of cancer. He was born in Eagle Grove on July 13, 1911, the son of Guy and Anna Maier Finley. He grew up in Eagle Grove and received his education in the Eagle Grove schools. He was married to Mrs. Elsie Armstrong in 1944. The couple lived in Boone, Iowa for several years. They had lived in California, where he was employed by the Southern Pacific for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Finley of Norwalk, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Sally Gluskoter of Chino, Calif.; a grandson, Ronnie Gluskoter, who lives in California; a sister, Mrs. Irene Lynch of Eagle Grove and three stepsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Harley, and an infant brother.

Graveside services for the cremains of Ronald F. Finley, were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 1983 at the Calvary Cemetery in Eagle Grove with Rev. Fr. Paul R Peters officiating.
