Services For Mrs. Fraser Here Wednesday

Services for Mrs. Don C. Fraser, 77, a long time resident of Eagle Grove were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p. m. in the Sacquety-Sandvig Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the family lot in Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Lyle Lieder officiating. Mrs. Fraser died Sunday morning, November 26 in the Clarion Memorial hospital following several weeks of serious illness. She is survived by one son Dr. James B. Fraser of Des Moines, five granddaughters, one grandson, a sister Mrs. Russell Kelly of Nevada and one brother Ralph Bullock of Los Angeles. Her husband Don C. and a son Clinton C. preceded her in death. Mrs. Fraser came to Eagle Grove in 1915 with her husband and had lived here since that time. She was living in her home on South Iowa at the time of the illness which hospitalized her. Her husband Don was a mortician and was associated with the
Foll & Wilson firm for many years. Following the dissolution of this furniture and mortuary firm Mr. Fraser opened the Fraser furniture company in the building now occupied by Nelson Furniture. Mrs. Fraser joined her husband in this venture and was an active participant in the business until their son Clinton bought the business. She was a community booster and vitally interested in the business life of the community during the building of that firm and this community following the depression. She was always a happy, vivacious character and an excellent saleswoman in the store. Her judgment and council were highly respected and every businessman of that day was proud to call her a friend.
