Services For Ed Wood Here Saturday P. M.

Ed Wood, 70, died Wednesday morning in Lutheran hospital, Fort Dodge following a short illness. He was in Fort Dodge Monday night with his brothers attending an electrical meeting and was in the car about to return home when he was taken suddenly ill. His brothers took him to Lutheran hospital at once where he died about 9 a.m. yesterday. He is survived by one sister Mrs. Julian Lageson of Fairmont, Minn, and six brothers, Tom, Leonard, Sylvan and Bertram of Eagle Grove, James of Council Bluffs and Elmer of Fairmont, Minn. Other survivors include, four step-children, Mrs. Forrest Fromm and Mrs. Robert Godfrey of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Helen Adams of Minneapolis and Ronald Prehm of Newark, Ohio.

Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Evangelical Lutheran church. The pastor Rev. Kenneth Torvik will officiate and burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery. Mr. Wood was a long time employee of the Iowa Public Service Company. He retired from the gas department of the company when he was 66 years of age. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran church and active in all the branches of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
