Anderson Rites Held At Britt
Operated Implement Store for 10 Years; Farmed PreviouslyBritt - Funeral services for Seward Anderson were held Tuesday afternoon at the Britt Methodist church with the Rev. Harold Nydahl of Osage in charge. Burial was in Linden cemetery.
Seward Anderson was born Nov. 27, 1882, at Eagle Grove, a son of of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Anderson. He was married to Susann Holland of Thompson. Mr. Anderson was a retired farmer and for 10 years had operated the International Harvester shop, retiring from that in 1940. He died at a Mason City hospital July 18, following an operation for a ruptured appendix.
Surviving are his wife and six sisters, Mrs. L. H. Gray, Redlands, Cal.; Mrs. Andrew Wallin, Estherville; Mrs. George Whalen, Los Angeles, Cal,; Mrs. Ray Poland, Colton, Cal.; Mrs. Hugh Miller, San Gabriel, Cal.; Mrs. Eugene Rock of Ontario, Cal. Preceding him in death was a brother, Andrew. Pallbearers were Ed Meleney, Bert Heimindinger, L. C. Beaumont, Oscar Edgren, Kalmer Haven and Ernest Bartik.
