Mrs. Dunfee's Rites Sunday
Services for Britt Woman Will Be Held at Methodist ChurchBritt - Funeral services for Mrs. J. L. Dunfee, who died Thursday afternoon, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church. Mrs. Dunfee was born Jan. 11, 1885, at Hardy. She was married Nov. 14, 1906 to J. L. Dunfee at Renwick where they went on a farm. In 1920 they moved to a farm near Kanawha and for the past 1 1/2 years have been residents of Britt.
Surviving are her husband and three children, Russell, Gladys and Mrs. Thomas Hanson, all of Britt; two grandchildren, Phyllis and David Hanson and three brothers, Leslie Pierce of Eagle Grove, Hugh Pierce of Algona and Clair Pierce of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

58 Year Old Britt Resident Succumbs; Survived by FamilyBritt - Funeral services in charge of Wigton's funeral home were held Sunday at the Methodist church for Mrs. J. L. Dunfee, 58, who died Thursday. They moved to Britt in 1940 from near Kanawha. Surviving are her husband and three children, Russell, Mrs. Thomas Hanson and Gladys, all of Britt, two grandchildren, Phyllis and David Hanson, and three brothers, Leslie Pierce of Eagle Grove, Hugh Pierce of Algona, and Clair Pierce of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Pallbearers were Adolph Carlson, Sam Barger, Ed Hall, Henry Eastman, Carl Harriman and Ed Lupken.
