Richard S. O'Brien, a longtime resident of Sleepy Hollow and Briarcliff Manor, died March 26, 2015. He was 97. Mr. O'Brien was born on July 19, 1917 to Frederick and Gertrude Swan in Galt, IA. He worked for many years as an Engineer for the CBS Broadcast Company in New York City and retired as the Director of Engineering. He received an Emmy for his contributions to Broadcasting.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Sleepy Hollow and his daughter, Karen and her husband Mark Ozemba of TN. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Kristin and her husband Daniel Finley, Michael, Ozemba, and Steven Ozemba; as well as a great-granddaughter, Adeline Grace Finley. He was predeceased by his son Frederick O'Brien.

Interment will take place on Monday at 10 AM at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Coffey Funeral Home, 91 North Broadway, Tarrytown, New York;
