On the 28th of December, 1887, he was united in marriage to Miss Jennie Trusty of Fort Dodge. For some time his health has been in a failing condition. He was a patient sufferer. He was prepared and willing to go. His only regret was that of leaving his wife alone. Besides his widow and son, he leaves to mourn their loss, two grandchildren, Jane and Marcia Weeks and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Caylor of Balco, Okla., who, because of ill health, was unable to attend the funeral.
