Harry Pletcher Has Arm Mangled in Corn Sheller.

The sad news of the accident to Harry Pletcher, while shelling corn at W. H. Paul's last Thursday, was followed Sunday night by the announcement of his death. The funeral services were held Tuesday at the Baptist church after a brief service at the Pletcher home. Rev. A. J. Lander preached the sermon to a large congregation of the friends and neighbors of the family. So large was the attendance many were unable to get into the church. The family has the sympathy of every acquaintance in this terrible affliction. Everything that skill could do or love suggest was done for the unfortunate young man, but to no avail, and death, relieved, his sufferings at 7 o'clock Sunday evening.

Harry Pletcher was a fine young man, dutiful, cherry, and kind. He hadn't an enemy and everyone who knew him respected him and was his friend. To his parents he was an ideal son, and his untimely death burdens their hearts with an inexpressible sorrow. The sympathy of all is extended to them in this great affliction.
