James Alexander Skiff, the son of Ward and Mamie (Stout) Skiff, was born June 20, 1922, in Silt, CO. On September 8, 1956, James was united in marriage with Marjorie Young at Denver, CO. They made their home in Colorado for a few years before returning to the farm northwest of Eagle Grove in 1963. Survivors include his son Joel A. Skiff and wife Jennifer of Lonsdale, MN; brother, Duane Skiff and wife Violet of Fruita, CO and sister, Rose Marie Stude of Garfield, KS. Service is 1 p.m. Thursday at Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove. Visitation is two hours prior to the service.
