Rev. G. Pletcher Dies Suddenly in Tennessee Sunday

Relatives and friends of Rev. Gerald Pletcher, 42, were shocked when word was received here Sunday of his sudden death at Milan, Tenn. Although he had not felt well Saturday night, he had been able to attend church Sunday forenoon, but did not preach. He was stricken while eating dinner and died 20 minutes after arriving at the Milan hospital. He had been pastor of the Assembly of God church at Milan for the past three years. Previously he had held pastorates at Brookings, S. D., Mt Pleasant, Eagle Grove, Gallup, N. M., and Kingman, Ariz. He was born in Dayton township April 24, 1913, and was a graduate of Clarion high school. He died on his 42nd birthday. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Clarion Church of Christ.
Surviving are his father, Walter; his wife; two daughters, Nancy and DeAnzo, and a son, Rickey; and four sisters and one brother.
