Funeral for Mrs. W. H. Grill

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Grill, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. H. W. Schiller officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Grill died New Year's Day in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids where she was a patient for about two months. She had been in failing health since mid August 1957. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lewis Larsen, Eagle Grove, one son, Robert, of Pensacola, Fla. who came last week due to his mother's illness. Other survivors are seven grandchildren Mrs. Grill's husband, the late Wm. Grill, was in the real estate and insurance business here for many years before retirement.

OBITUARY
Frances Mary Glasspoole was born Feb. 18, 1902 in Greeley, Colo, to Joseph and Sarah Holmes Glasspoole. She was baptized and confirmed into the triune faith at German Lutheran Church in Alvord, in 1922. She passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids on Jan. 1, 1976 after reaching the age of 73 years, 10 months, and 13 days. Frances attended school in Greeley, Colo. On October 12, 1921 she was united in marriage to William Herman Grill of Alvord, at Council Bluffs, Iowa. They lived in Alvord until 1932 when they moved to Eagle Grove where Mr. Grill was a real estate and insurance agent. They became members of Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church on May 9, 1937. Mrs. Grill was active in the ELCW and was a member of Miriam Circle. On August 27 she entered Trinity Regional Hospital and then returned home for a short while. On Oct. 21 she became a patient in St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. Grill was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William in 1968; one daughter, Lois, who was five years of age; five brothers and three sisters. Those who mourn her passing are: one son, Robert, Pensacola, Fla.; one daughter, Fern, Mrs. Lewis Larson, Eagle Grove; seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 3 at 2:00 p.m. at EGELC: Rev. H. W. Schiller officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
