Myrtle Louise Wise was born August 27, 1889, at Oto, Ia., the daughter of Peter and Lucretia Williams Wise. She was educated in Oto. She was united in marriage to Henry Schultz of Oto, in 1904, at Onawa, Ia., the couple farmed near Oto, until his death in 1945. Mrs. Schultz moved to Eagle Grove in 1948. She operated a nursing home for a number of years, retiring several years ago. She passed away at her home March 25 at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 28 days. She is survived by one son, Henry Schultz, Eagle Grove; nine grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter; three sisters, and nine brothers. Mrs. Schultz was a member of the United Methodist Church, Eagle Grove. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at the United Methodist Church, Eagle Grove. Rev. Donald Glazier officiated and burial was in the Oto Township Cemetery, Oto, Ia.
