Shirley Diane Goslin, 81, died on October 21, 2016 in Des Moines. She was born at the home of her parents, Lisle and Teressa (Campbell) Goslin in Clarion, Iowa on September 11, 1935. She moved with her family to Des Moines in 1948 where she remained. She is a 1953 graduate of North Des Moines High School.

Memorial services will be held at Windsor United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11am. Visitation will be on Friday, October 28 from 5-7pm at Iles Westover Chapel.

After 45 years with Farmland Mutual/Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance Cos., Ms. Goslin was a Regulatory Technical Consultant at the time of her retirement in 2003. She was an active lifetime member of the Insurance Association of Greater Des Moines, Inc. and the International Association of Insurance Professionals. She held the professional designation of CPCU, AIS and CPIW. She was a member of Windsor United Methodist Church.

Her parents; brothers, John E. Goslin and Donald M. Goslin; sister, Peggy Dyer and brother-in-law, Glenn Dyer predeceased her. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Esther Goslin of Westmoreland, TN and Barbara Shertzer of WA; nieces, Kendra McKenna, Lonni (Mark Ruddick) Goslin, Debra Reda and Marcia Wise; nephews, Mark (Sue) Goslin and Paul (Karen) Goslin; five great nieces; three great nephews and three great-great nephews. She is also survived by the Penton/Butler family who made her part of their family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent to Windsor United Methodist Church or the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
