Burial and memorial services were held Tuesday, June 24 in Sioux Falls; SD for Kathryn L. Cook, daughter of Ada Wadsworth Smith and Henry W. Smith. Mrs. Cook was born February 7, 1892 in Sioux Falls, grew up and attended schools there. She was married to Oscar L. Cook in 1917 and continued to live in Sioux Falls for her remaining years. Grateful for having shared her life are three sons: Arnold of Clarion; Wendell of Sioux Falls; William, Spencer, and two daughters: Marjorie Williams of Valley Springs, SD and Elizabeth Begeman of Parker, SD; 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; a brother, Henry Smith of Silver Springs, Maryland; two sisters, Myrtle Smith, Vermillion, SD; and Ethel Connop, Winfield, IA. Death occurred Sunday afternoon, June 22, in the Sioux Falls Good Samaritan Center.
