Funeral services for Richard Reeder, 50, were held at the Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, Minn., on Saturday, June 14, 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Craig Nelson of the Baptist Church officiating. Burial Rites were held at the Clarion Evergreen Cemetery at 4 p.m., with Pastor Paul Pfaltzgraff of the Clarion United Methodist Church officiating. Richard passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 1986, in the Wells Hospital. He was born at Clarion on January 31, 1936 and was the son of Ruth Blackman and the late Kenneth Reeder. His younger days were spent in Minnesota. He was employed at the Beatrice Meats Company in Wells. Survivors include his mother; Ruth Blackman of Clarion; and brothers; Howard of Wells, Minn., and Dennis in the Military Service in Germany; Dennis's wife, Sandy, and daughter, Michele of Spokane, Wash. His father preceded him in death.
