Funeral services for Anno TerHark, 74, Clarion, were held Monday, July 31, 1989 at the United Presbyterian Church, Clarion. Rev. John Mann conducted the 10:30 am service. Interment was held in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. Mr. TerHark passed away Thursday night, July 27 at the Clarion Community Memorial Hospital, Clarion. He had been a cancer patient for the past six weeks. During the service Robert Loux sang, "In The Garden" and "How Great Thou Art" accompanied by Mary Kallem. Bearers were Scott Anderson, Monte Anderson, David TerHark, Doug TerHark, Larry TerHark and Roger Grandgeorge.
Anno TerHark was born on Monday, Oct. 19, 1914 on a farm near Kanawha. He was the son of Anno and Jennie (Aalderks) TerHark, Sr. Anno was raised and educated in the Belmond area. On Wednesday, Jan. 31, 1940 Anno married Edith J. Berhow at Kanawha. The couple moved to Clarion in 1948 where Anno was employed as an implement mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Edith; son, Ronald, Coeur d' Alene, ID; daughter, Linda Anderson Owen, Galt; four grandsons; sisters, Grace Delger, Geneva, MN; Helena Kurtz and Sadie Swenson, both of Belmond; Jennie Eygabrod, Dayton; brother, Thomas TerHark, Kanawha.
