December 21, 1882 --- July 14, 1962

Funeral services were held Monday, July 16 for Mrs. Molly Chapman, near 80 years old, of Lehigh. The service was held in the Methodist Church there, with Dr. C. J. Semans conducting and with Carsons of Dayton in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Chapman was born December 21, 1882 and passed away July 14, 1962. Mrs. G. M. Thomas played special music at the church. Casket bearers were Thomas Timmons, Harold Dangman, Ed Griggs, Ross Tuel Jr., Milford Wickwire and Charles Podlesak. Interment was made in the Clarion Cemetery, at Clarion, Iowa. Mrs. Chapman died Saturday, July 14, in the hospital at Webster City after a long illness. She was the former Mary Ann Carmichael of Wright County. Her husband died in 1936. Mrs. Chapman is survived by one son, Clifford Chapman of Lehigh and one grandson.
