Services Thursday For Mrs. Harry Reed

Funeral services for Mrs. Harry E. Reed, 75, of Lehigh will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, January 9. The service will be conducted by Rev Robert L. Nelson, pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Burnside. The services will be held in the Bruce's Memorial Chapel at Fort Dodge. Interment will be held in the Lehigh Cemetery. Mrs. Reed passed away early Tuesday morning, January 7 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Dodge. She had been in ill health for several years and had been a patient at the hospital since Saturday.

Blance [Blanche Mable] Manchester was born in Burnside Township and attended rural schools of the Burnside area. She alto graduated from the Toben Business College in Fort Dodge. In 1918 she married Harry E. Reed at Burnside. The couple farmed near Burnside except for about two years when they farmed in Wright County. Mrs. Reed was a member of the Burnside Baptist Church and the women's union of the church. Survivors include the widower; two sons, Daniel R. of Otho; Vern E. of Lehigh; four grandchildren and one great grandson.
