Funeral services were held Saturday, July 29, at Samuel Lutheran Church for Anna Sarah Jacobson, who died Wednesday, July 26, in the Forest City Hospital. Anna Jacobson was born to Torstin and Martha Pederson Mickelson on November 15,1894. She attended school at Jewell and married Benhardt Munson at her home in Jewell in 1912. Mr. Munson died in 1924. In 1926, she married Carl Jacobson of Badger in Humboldt. Mr. Jacobson died in 1956. Anna was 83 at the time of her death. She had been a resident of Forest City since 1964.

Survivors include four sons: Marion Munson of Waterloo, Amos Munson of Fort Dodge, Clarence Jacobson and Paul Jacobson of Eagle Grove; two stepsons: Theodore Jacobson of Fort Dodge and Alfred Jacobson of Eagle Grove; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Viola) Armstrong of Eagle Grove; five stepdaughters: Burnette Helm of Crystal Lake, Connie DeKamp of Renwick, Alma Odland of Goldfield, Genevieve Thompson of Webster City, Mrs. Irvin (Mabel) Odland of Eagle Grove; 38 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husbands, two sons: Bennie and Elmer Jacobson; and two daughters: Stella Munson and a stillborn child.
