The Rev. Arthur T. Rollene, 81, 1750 Sherwood St., Sarasota, died Monday in a local nursing home. Born in Coulter, [Dows, Iowa] Iowa, he came to Sarasota in 1970 from Hartland, Wis. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a retired pastor. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Marion Rollene of Sarasota; as son, Merton Rollene of Libertyville, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Richards of Orono, Maine; a sister, Miss Teckla Rollene of Dows, Iowa; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Robarts Funeral Home. The Rev. Berkley G. Helms, officiating. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Baptist Church Building Fund.
