John Hunter, 81

Word has been received here of the death of John Hunter, 81, of Dows, Iowa on Saturday, October 5. Services were held in Dows on Tuesday, October 8 with Rev. William O. Niles officiating and burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery in Franklin County, Iowa. Survivors include his wife, Clara, of Dows, Iowa; two sons, Nara W. and George A., both of Morrison; one daughter, Mrs. John (Della) Runion of Cape Kennedy, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Two sons, Lloyd and Elmer E., preceded him in death. Mr. Hunter resided in the Cottonwood community a number of years ago.
