Marion Carl Enghausen, age 63 of Nevada died Wednesday, February 4, 1981 at the Story County Hospital in Nevada. Enghausen was born on July 10, 1917 in Galt to the parents of Claus and Ida Sheppelman Enghausen. Enghausen attended school in Dows and graduated with the class of 1935. He married Doris Marie Christensen on March 8, 1953 in Garwin, Iowa. He farmed south of Galt until 1963 when they moved to Nevada where they farmed for a a few years and he worked for Ryerson Implement. The funeral was Saturday, February 7 at the Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg with the Rev. Oliver Johnson officiating. Interment was at the Nevada Cemetery in Nevada. Enghausen is survived by his wife Doris, daughter Linda of Des Moines and Lori at home, sisters Mrs. LaVera Unger of Dows and Mrs. Edith Kimpston of Cedar Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Arlene Martin of Clarion in 1977. The body was at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada.
