Pearl Brown, daughter of John and Anna Christensen Larsen, was born Nov. 3, 1914 at Goldfield and passed away at her home in Eagle Grove on February 22 at the age of 56 years, 3 months and 18 days. She graduated from Goldfield Public Schools in 1932. She was married to Wesley W. Brown on May 27, 1937, and they made their home in Eagle Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister and an infant daughter, Carolyn Joyce. She is survived by her husband and five children: three sons Thomas Wesley Brown of Saugus, Calif.; Michael William Brown, Springfield, Mo.; James D. Brown, Eagle Grove; two daughters, Carol Lynn Brown, Hampton, and Mrs. James Fankhauser of Webster City. Also three grandchildren; five brothers: Howard C. Larsen, Vincent; Clarence A. Larsen, Dows; George W. Larsen, Goldfield; Carroll W. Larsen, Clatskanie, Ore; and Roy K. Larsen, Boone; three sisters: Rose Riggs and Mrs Norman Peer, Renwick and E. Marie Gangestad, Hampton.

Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, at the Holmes Baptist Church with Rev. David Dunn of the Belmond Bible Church officiating. Interment was held on the family lot in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield.
