Prominent Thor Man Dies Wednesday A.M.

Levi Rogness, 53, Thor businessman and member of the town council there, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday
in Mercy hospital Fort Dodge. Mr. Rogness had been in failing health for a few years, but seriously ill only one week, after he was stricken suddenly, in his place of business on Nov 23rd. He is survived by his wife, the former Gretchen Kubitschek, one daughter Pauline, Eagle Grove high school senior, one son Tommie, two brothers Thomas Rogness of Thor, and Theodore Rogness of Forest City. Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9 o'clock in Sacred Heart church, Eagle Grove, and interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 8 o'clock.
