Mary L. Nolte, 85, died July 12, 2016 at Chariton Specialty Care. Services were held July 16 at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment was at Amsterdam Cemetery near Goodell, with Pastor Donna Buckman officiating. Pallbearers were Annie Davis, Lindsey Vollstedt, Dwight Moser, Adam Forkner, Darwin Gwinn and Kirk Whitler. Goodell pallbearers were Annie Davis, Dwight Moser, Lorna Holst, Mike Holst, Kevin Peterson and Danny Langford.

Mary Louise was born September 11, 1930 to Everette and Cora May (Sims) Sellers. She was the only girl, with six brothers. She graduated from Kanawha High School in 1948. Mary married Bernard Nolte on June 19, 1949. To this marriage two daughters were born: Mary Ann and June Marie. Mary was a stay-at-home mom until June started school. Then she worked in the school kitchen at Goodell until it closed.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Bernard; brothers Virgil, Donald, Burdette, Herbert and Robert; son-in-law Gerald (Jerry) Edward Tupper; grandsons Gerald Don Tupper, Sr., and Christopher Allen Tupper; and great grandson Daniel Owen Tupper. She is survived by her brother Carl Sellers of Gerry, NY; her daughters Mary Ann Tupper of Alden and June (Buddy) Davis of Humeston; grandson Ben (Deb) Tupper; granddaughter Annie (Dwight Moser) Davis; great grandchildren Kiya (Aaron) Peterson, Hollie Tupper, Kodie Tupper, Jenna Tupper, Chloe Miller, Allison Moser, C.J. Kint, Gerald Don (Nicole) Tupper Jr., David (Heather) Tupper, Kevin (Jenna) Tupper, and Paul (Stacy) Tupper; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
