Austin Solberg died at his home in this city Monday morning at 4:30. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at the United Lutheran church at 1:30. He was 64 years of age. Complete obituary next week.

Austin Solberg was born Sept. 4, 1855 in Hjelmeland, Stavanger, Norway. At the age of 21 he came to the United States to Leland, Ill. There he was married to Miss Karen Jorstad January 4, 1881. Six children were born to this union, two died in Infancy, four are living. The family has lived at these various places Leland, Ill., Story City, Ia., Solberg, Ia., and Avoca, Minn., from which place they retired to Eagle Grove in the spring of 1918. Mrs. Solberg passed away Dec. 22, 1918, after about five weeks illness. Mr. Solberg passed away Tuesday morning, June 21, aged 65 years, 9 months and 17 days, leaving two boys. Ben of Story City and Clarence, of Holmes, two daughters, Mrs. H. Soppeland and Olive Solberg. Funeral services were conducted from the home and the East Side Lutheran church Thursday, by Rev. Severtson, assisted by Revs. Holm and Benson.
