Beverly May Blue died on Monday, February 18, 2002, at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa, at the age of 68. Survivors include her children, Bryan Laidig, Webster City, Iowa, and Victor Link, of Washington; mother, Harriet Foster, Webster City; four sisters, Thelma Johnson, Spencer, Iowa, Harriet Taylor, Fort Dodge, Verna Foster, Eagle Grove, Iowa, and Susan Kamprath, Iowa City, Iowa; four brothers, Ronald Foster, Wisconsin Dells, Wis., Kenneth Foster, Fort Dodge, Samuel Foster, Woolstock, and Steven Foster, Eagle Grove; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth; daughter, Pamela Lynn; sister, Rita Fergerson.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 20, at 11 a.m., at the Samuel Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove with Reverend Paul Rothfuz officiating. Burial was held in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Beverly May Foster, the daughter of Kenneth V. and Harriet P. (Fosnaugh) Foster, was born on December 23, 1933, in Algona, Iowa. She was raised and educated in the area of her birth. She moved to Eagle Grove with her family in 1962. She married Ronnie Laidig in March of 1951, and then was married to Ralph Blue. She worked at a truck stop while in Algona, and for Wilson & Company, Geise Ready Mix and drove a school bus, all in Eagle Grove. She was a member of the Eagle Grove Saddle Club. Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
