Former Resident Buried Here Today

Funeral services will be at three o'clock this afternoon at the Wilson Chapel for Mrs. Abbie Hathaway Federland, 73, who died Tuesday night in a Des Moines hospital. Rev. Walter Ross, pastor of the Congregational church, will have charge and interment will be in Rose Hill cemetery beside her son Lewis who passed away in 1925. Mrs. Federland was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Hathaway and resided here during her girlhood days. She is survived by two brothers Frank and Len Hathaway of Minneapolis, and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Miler of St. Louis, Mo. Len Hathaway and Mrs. Miler are in the city for their sister's funeral.
