November 25, 1873 ---- July 7, 1965

Mrs. Blanche White, 91, of Boone died last Wednesday night at the Rotary Ann Home where she had lived since October, 1963. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian church in Boone with the Rev. J Stanley Schmidt officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Born in Ames, Mrs. White was one of the oldest graduates of Iowa State University, having graduated from there in 1894. She and her husband, the late Brinton F. White, lived in Eagle Grove from 1912 to 1917. Following his death in 1937, she moved to Boone with her daughter, Miss Alma Lee White until entering Rotary Ann Home. Besides her daughter, she is survived by two sons, Norman of Boone and Brinton of Glen Ellyn, Ill., and four grandchildren.
