August 16, 1906 ---- June 7, 1979

Mildred Mamie Rising passed away in her home Thursday evening, June 7, 1979, after a lengthy illness. Mildred was born August 16,1906, to William and Nellie Ratliffe Copp in Eagle Grove. She graduated from school in Eagle Grove. Mildred and Leonard Rising were united in marriage on August 2, 1931 in the home of her parents. They set up their home in Eagle Grove where they were both from. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Chicago Northwestern Railroad Club. Those who mourn her departure are her husband. Preceding her in death were her parents, one sister, Erma Hanson, and one brother, William Copp. Funeral services were held Monday, June 11, 1979, 2:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church. Rev. Donald Callen officiated and burial was at Rose Hill, Eagle Grove.
