Mrs. Emma Magill, 84, died Thursday, June 9th at the Rotary Ann Home where she had lived for the past three years. Funeral services for Mrs. Magill were at 8 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. J. J. Brickley officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Raymond Bradford of Tacoma, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Chris Nielsen and Mrs. Fred Johnson both of Omaha, Neb., three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Two nieces who grew up in the Magill home, Mrs. George Henley of Clarion and Mrs. George Sowers of Long Beach, Calif., also survive.
Born at Eagle Grove, Mrs. Magill was the former Emma Mae Riley. She married Percy Bradford in 1902 at Eagle Grove and they lived in Mason City seven years, returning to Eagle Grove in 1909. In 1924 they moved to Hawarden and in 1927 they again returned to Eagle Grove where he died in 1932. She later married Bert Magill who died several years ago.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Catholic Daughters of America, and the Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary of Chicago North Western Railroad.
