Mr. Weland was a charter member of Holmes Lutheran church and became a member of Samuel Lutheran church in 1913 when he and his family moved to Eagle Grove. He was a faithful and active member of the church and has now gone to his heavenly reward to share the eternal glory with his Lord and Savior.
