January 9, 1897 ---- November 28, 1977

Mrs. Frances Hardy, 80, Amarillo, Tex., formerly of Humboldt, died Monday, Nov. 26, at Northwest Texas Hospital, Amarillo. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 2, at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Humboldt, with burial in Union Cemetery. Friends may call at Lindhart Funeral Home after 2 p.m., Thursday. Surviving are sisters: Mrs. George Cook, Newton; and Mrs. Electa Shupe, Clarion; and brother, Gordon Foster, Peoria, Ariz. Frances Foster was born in Illinois and she and her husband, Vern Hardy, owned and operated a dry cleaning business in Humboldt. Mr. Hardy died in 1952. Since 1963 Mrs. Hardy had made her home at Phoenix, AZ, and Fort Lauderdale, FL. She had lived the last year at Amarillo.
