Mrs. L. Marlin Dies At Home Near Hartland

Mrs. L. E. Marlin (Maggie), 69, died yesterday at 4 p.m. at her home near Hartland. Her maiden name was Pollock and she was born at Goldfield, Iowa Feb. 9, 1886. She attended school in Goldfield and was baptized and brought up in the Presbyterian faith. She married Leroy E. Marlin October 20, 1906. In March 1914 they moved to Hartland where she lived until her death. Her husband survives her as do seven children. Lloyd Marlin of Adams, William Marlin at home, Donald Marlin of St. Paul, Kenneth & Robert both of Austin, Mrs. Ellsworth (Janet) Tukua of Hartland, Mrs. Alert (Margaret) Thofson of Albert Lea; Other survivorss are: Two brothers, John Pollock of Lansing, Robert Pollock of Amboy. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hartland Lutheran church.
