September 13, 1896 ---- July 2, 1993

Daughter of John & Hannah (Kirchner) Riley. Born in Goldfield, Wright County, Iowa; She moved to Ceylon, Minn. and then to Webster City in 1910. She graduated from Webster City High School and attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. She taught in rural schools and later was a substitute teacher in the Webster City Schools for many years, continuing to tutor students until the age of 92. On Nov 27, 1919, she married McKinley McCollough at Webster City. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, John & Leola McCollough and Robert & Ruth McCollough, all Webster City; grandchildren, Connie Haidle and Kirk McCollough, both Webster City, Blaine McCollough, Eagle Grove, Jennifer McCollough, Maple Grove, Minn; and 6 g-grandchildren; In addition to her husband who died in Nov. 1962, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Donna McCollough; her parents; brother, Richard Riley; and sisters, Edna Dotson and Pearl Weedman.
