Ina Campbell was born to parents Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Campbell on May 26, 1886, on a farm near Woolstock, in Hamilton county. She attended Mt. St. Clara’s academy in Sinsinawa, Wisc. where she majored in music. Following her graduation she taught in Winona, Minn. later coming to Eagle Grove where she conducted a music studio and taught piano. On Sept. 10, 1913, she was united in marriage to Maurice E. Noonan and they made their home here continuously since that time. Five children were born to this union, Mary Jean, who died June 10, 1933 following an auto accident, Maurice Earl, Captain in the Marine Air Corps, Richard Arthur, Sergeant in the Army Air Corps, Annabel, a student at the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, Minn., and James Patrick, at home. Mrs. Noonan was a devout Catholic and attended Sacred Heart church. She was for many years a member of the Cecilian Music Club and was an active worker in the United Service Women’s Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Mary Jean. She is survived by her husband and the four children who were present at the funeral, one sister, Mrs. C. J. Nagle of Clarion, and one brother, Fred Campbell of Tucson, Ariz.
