Funeral services for Mrs. Charles W. Tarr, 60, of 809 Fairview St., who died yesterday at 1 a.m. at St. Francis hospital of a heart attack, will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Bruno Schlachtenhaufen, pastor of First Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in Midwest Garden of Memories.

Mrs. Tarr was born Clara Griffith on March 11, 1898, at Eagle Grove, daughter of George and Katharine Rice Griffith. A resident of Waterloo 51 years, she was married here Oct. 27, 1917, to Charles W, Tarr, She was a member of First Lutheran church. Surviving besides her husband, are a son, Warren L. Tarr, 1312 Lyon St.; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Marie Tarr, Kirksville, Mo.; and four brothers, Earl C. Griffith, Evansdale; Ren, of Eagle Grove; Leonard of 208 Riehl and Jack, of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by parents and two brothers.
