1893 --- October 15, 1893

Mr. and Mrs. Buck, who are but recent arrivals among us from Eagle Grove are bereft of their infant child Friday. The funeral services were held in the Baptist church Sunday, Rev. Plumley pronounced a few fitting words to the living over the unsearchable mystery of death. Our kindest sympathies are with the parents whose homes have been visited by the angel the past week.
