Ida Rosemary Harmon, 90 years young, "Went home to be with her Lord" on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at her Klamath Falls, Ore., residence with family at her bedside. She was born on April 12, 1917, in Goodell, Iowa, to her parents Framer William Cordes and the former Rose Mary Colombe. Ida graduated from the eighth grade in junior high school in Goodell and that was also where she married her lifelong mate Earl Kenneth Harmon on Nov. 4, 1932. Earl preceded her in death on May 31, 1984.

She is survived by her four daughters, two sons, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Ida was very proud of her family and dearly loved each one of them. She held in high regard the honor of taking care of the home and family plus also finding extra hours to work outside in the work-a-day world.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at 1 p.m. in Dorris, Calif., at the Picard Cemetery next to her beloved husband Earl. Visitation will be held at the Chapel on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd, directors, is in charge of the arrangements.
