Mrs. Mamie Shake Died Monday

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Mamie Shake, former resident, who has been residing at Methodist Manor in Storm Lake for the past few years. Mrs. Shake suffered a stroke a few weeks ago and has been in serious condition in a Storm Lake hospital since that time. She passed away Monday evening, May 11. A short prayer service was held in Storm Lake Tuesday evening with services and burial to be in Indiana. She is survived by her daughter, Madeline, Mrs. Earl Richeal of Storm Lake, one grandson, James, stationed at Travis Air Force Base in California; three grandchildren and a nephew, Lyman Shake of Clarion.
