Mrs. Carrie Trumbell Dies at Home

Carrie K. Trumbell, 84, died Thursday evening at their home, 1124 Pennsylvania N. E. She had lived in Mason City about 35 years, coming here from Goodell. Mrs. Trumbell was born Sept. 16, 1872, at Goodell. She moved to Mason City in 1921 and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Florence Pringnitz, Swaledale; two sons, Sumner Trumbell, Klemme; and Harry E. Trumbell, Goodell; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband [James Trumbell] in 1919 [1949].

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Major Memorial Chapel. The Rev. I. Egeland, pastor of the Methodist Church, Thornton, will officiate. Burial will be in the Goodell Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 2 p.m. Sunday until the time of services.
